Before she became the influential business owner that she is today, she was a pastor, a single mother to 3, and a believer in the power of community. She started CIBN with no funding, no credit, and very little business experience. In her entrepreneur journey she found networking to be the perfect way to find the mentors that were needed to grow as a business owner. Networking provided the knowledge and support that transformed her business and she realized that it would do that for others if they had a little guidance. She formed a vision of entrepreneurs working together to change the world. Often those entrepreneurs had little more than faith and a dream so she dreamed with them. She listened closely, and she learned how to thrive through networking. Today we have members all over the world, and we continue to listen closely.
Zech is the eldest son to Kerry. He started working on the family business when he was 17 years old. He left high school to support his family, and grow CIBN into a business that his mother could be proud of. He spent his early years sharpening his teeth amongst entrepreneurs, and he learned how to network through mentors in the CIBN community. Instead of going to parties, he spent his time asking great questions and sitting at the feet of business gurus. He learned how to grow a business from scratch from the leaders in our community. Today Zechariah has a thriving consultation business where he supports indigenous Canadians through starting their own businesses. He is on track to double his revenue for a third year in a row, and is a sought after speaker and expert in the startup space; he learned it all from networking in our community.
Joshua joined the family business after graduating from the University of Calgary. He put himself through university by working full time in sales. He spent his mornings at school, his evenings at work, and his nights at the library. He believes in the power of constant learning, hard work, and community. Today he is working diligently to make CIBN a sphere of excellence. His pride lives in the success of his community, and he will not stop until he's made his mom a millionaire. He believes in Happy Capitalism, and using our businesses to create the change that we want to see in the world.
The essence of Happy Capitalism is using your business to create the change that you'd like to see in the world. Do you like to add value and create win/win situations? Happy Capitalists usually have these three qualities:
Hard working
Community Builders
Innovation is at the core of CIBN culture. Instead of thinking about problems, we think about solutions. Everyday we ask ourselves how we can do things better. We leverage cutting edge networking software, we've divorced from the standard meeting model, and we're never afraid to try and do more.
Innovative thinking is essential to successful networking. Innovators collaborate more and create opportunities. Innovators are always wondering how they can enhance their business, so they're more likely to invest in the services of other members.
We're not looking for tired people who want to keep things the same. We are energetic, and focused on being better everyday.
If you are always working on making your business better, if you're shaking up the status quo, if you're happy to try new things, then you could be a happy capitalist.
Hard work underpins every successful business, and we cannot be around people who treat their business like a hobby. We work long hours because we believe in our business. We've seen what is possible, and we're not interested in half measures. A hardworking business owner hits the phones, sends the emails, follows up, and feeds their business. Networking works way better when every member does lead development in volume. We don't need every member to have massive marketing campaigns. But if networking is your only lead development strategy, you're going to need to do a lot to keep up with us. Whatever your marketing budget is, there are always options available for diversifying your lead generation systems. If you want to network with us, we expect you to be feeding your business.
If you're not ready to work hard, if you expect to just show up and have people give you leads, if you don't give your business the attention that it deserves, than this is not the place for you.
If you are always looking for new ways to feed your business, if you're consistently following up, if you're persistent and understand what steady progress does for your business, then you could be a happy capitalist.
The most important quality that every CIBN member must have is being a community builder. These people are always wondering how they can help each other. They bring people together and they understand that we are a team. They support the sales of other members by offering a kind word. They learn the value of others in the community so they can share high quality referrals. They earn trust and build relationships as a habit. CIBN was never built by one person. It takes a village.
If you see dollar signs when you meet new people, if you're always chasing a transaction, if you belittle people, if your threatened by diversity or competition, then this is not the place for you.
If you're always bringing people together, if you're looking to grow meaningful relationships, if you have a deep seeded need to be a blessing to your community, then you could be a happy capitalist.

Our meetings facilitate a higher volume of new guests, so that our members can meet more people.
We are able to practice what we preach, by putting relationship building before sales.
We provide upfront value to our guests, so they can make an informed decision to join as a member.
Other groups earn more money by creating a paywall, but hurt their member's ability to grow their networks.
Other organizations alienate people buy telling them not to hard-sell, but they are hard-selling the memberships.
Groups sometimes use smoke and mirrors so that guests can't understand what they're buying into.
Building a business can be tough when you are on your own. Entrepreneurs often struggle to find community, mentorship and answers to everyday problems in business. Everyone is trying to sell us marketing. What works? What doesn't? How do I represent myself to the world? Who is my target market? What does my avatar look like?
We are good at what we do, and we just wanted to get started doing it. Now we find out that we need to also be good at doing our bookkeeping, marketing our products and services, and selling as well. We are wearing so many hats, where do we start?
Our Building A Network solution takes 30 to 60 days on average:
Begin building relationships with other entrepreneurs who will support you
Build real friendships that go beyond "liking" into "knowing" and "trusting"
Identify those who could become collaborators who have the same target market. These people have clients who buy, and those clients can be shared
Create 25 new strategic connections
Find your first 3 real Collaborating Partners and start working on the steps to success in chapter 9 of SMART NETWORKING - The $150,000 Method

Social media is no longer new, yet business owners are still struggling to add this component to their businesses. Often they lack the knowledge about what channels they should be using, best practices, how to convert to sales, how to automate and so much more. Yet, social media monopolizes our time and attention. We compete with every new shiny thing that hits the internet, and we get sucked into a vortex of activity that never seems to end, or pay off.
This is where CIBN Connect shines. Our Founder Kerry George has been a social media guru long before there were gurus. Her first business was social media marketing back in 2010 and way back then she realized that "Social Networking" was really networking, taken online. She mastered platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn and X and started training business owners to do the same.
Today we have a strong history of helping entrepreneurs find their way out of the chaos into successful strategies that produce results on all of the social media platforms. Really it is just about extending our network using a few good tools and solid processes.
We begin working on these things at The Speaker Level of membership. Members can move through the courses quickly, or they can take their time. One brick at a time we help you build the walls of your castle of legacy. You can do it!

We all want to get in front of that ideal room of people that is full of our targeted buyers. Or perhaps we want to give a sales presentation to the board of directors at a big company. What will happen if we are not practiced and polished in our presentation skills? Absolutely nothing. We will not land the sale.
Practice makes perfect, and we needs many hours of practice if we want to sell from the stage. Where do we get this practice? Sure we can pay to be in summits but many will disqualify us if we don't have the social following. Authors and speakers are often vetted and asked what their numbers are.
CIBN Connect offers our stage for our Speakers Level Members to practice their offers and refine their talks. We also have a Sales Pro level of membership to assist those who struggle in their ability to sell. After all, what is the point of getting leads if we can't close any of them. Business starts getting better when we start getting better at presenting our business to others.
Many want to start with the courses in the Speaker Level training and get some practice talking in front of others. It doesn't matter where you start, just start. Remember we are learning on the journey.
Presenting Our Solution:
Gain the confidence that you need to move your business forward
Eliminate the fear of public speaking and the emotions that sabotage

Learn to do 90 minute webinars (If you want to)
Do Facebook Lives in the CIBN FB groups (If you want to)

In this stage we are creating mechanisms to track production and implement them. Speaker Level Members often attend Quarter Launch in their first 90 days with CIBN Connect, but usually it is not until they have attended three times that they begin to gain traction. Why? Because small business owners are usually unaccustomed to building in quarterly increments and the first time they set goals that are 10 years into the future they are only guessing on their outcomes. Once they begin setting goals and using the techniques to accomplish them, then production becomes very effective.
In this stage we are examining systems of all kinds in our businesses. We learned how to add social media and automation in the Social Stage, but here in the Producing Stage we are tracking the outcomes and refining the strategies.
Sales are being counted at this level. If a Member has not yet taken the Sales Pro training, this is a good time to do so because improving our sales ratio will have a direct effect on the bottom line and this is part of tracking and scaling production. We can't train sales people to grow our businesses if we have not yet created a process to do so.
This is also the level where a business owner may want to consider the Excalibur MasterMind Program for more strategy focus.
Presenting our Production Solution:
Attend Quarter Launch for the third time and complete goal setting process
Add automations to your social media and customer communications
Record increase on social media channels
Make a plan for social media growth working towards the 10,000 goal
Make sure that the 4 C's of online marketing are being implemented
Measure sales results and tweak for improvement
Complete a Systems Analysis
It takes 10,000 online connections to move into the position of being an influencer. We cannot truly lead until we truly have followers. These do not happen by accident. There are simple and repeatable steps that need to be followed to create a situation where we are no longer screaming our message into an empty room. This is the stage where we could write a book and people will buy our book. This is where we can announce our event or our weekly meeting and people will line up to attend it without buying ads.
In this stage you are putting your finishing touches on your personal network and you are reaping the rewards of having followers. Your message is being proclaimed by your raving fans.
This is an appropriate time to add the multiplication strategies found in the Excalibur MasterMind Program.
These are the tasks for the Influencer:
Track the connections and followers on every social channel and continue in the strategies to increase those numbers
Add three new methods of increasing our online followers
Create and automate at least 1 communication strategy such as a blog, a magazine, a YouTube channel or a podcast.
Create at least two evergreen methods of making sales where advertising runs on it's own and makes more than what is being spent.
Set up at least two sources of ongoing repeatable income that supplement your business or your lifestyle
Multiply the strategies that work
Move into scaling your business
Comes with every level of membership!
